Like the old person I am I had no intention of staying up until Midnight to welcome the new year (and shoo out the old).
I ended up late enough to pop on facebook and answer friends' happy new year posts because I got caught up in a new game. :P
Today has been lazy...ok...every day of kids' vacation has been lazy. But yesterday I did get a thing done.
I had the kids' dad help me carry in a dresser to the dining room. Then I stared at it for half the day before deciding I wanted to switch where it was with the secretary that I use as a bar cabinet.
So I moved the dining table, emptied the bar, moved things around, then took the opportunity to wipe down all the glasses etc in the bar cabinet, and sort out some to sell/donate.
I'm proud of myself, even though I only chose a few things to part with.
Baby steps.
