Spent the day counting
I spent today counting the items in my stashes and recording them into a google document.
The idea here is that even after things get spread out again post Konmari gather, this will help me keep track of what I have, and be able to access it away from home if needed.
This will hopefully help me not buy, say, soap, when I have 37 bars at home.
37 bars we aren't currently using.
That's a lot of soap.
The fun part is that yesterday morning I got a numbing agent shot into my lumbar spine and it actually seems to have helped with the pain in my lower back. Everything else still sucks, but that part seems to have absolutely been better. It's wearing off now, but the point wasn't for the shots themselves to be a long term fix. The idea is to do it this time, repeat in two weeks, and if it seems like it helped both times and isn't just a coincidence, we can go in (dear gods please when I'm knocked out) and ablate the nerves right there.
It doesn't make the problem go away in my lower spine, pretty sure there isn't a cure for arthrosis, but it will cut off the phone line the nerves down there are using to bitch at my brain about how much my lower back hurts.
I'll take any possible relief of any kind in any area of my body I can get.
Also spent today being frustrated as hell that most of the people who had made appointments to come over and pick up things I'd posted on Marketplace just...never showed up...or said something came up and they'd get back to me and then they just...didn't.
GAH!
